
Hi! My name is Martin (Marty) Radwell, and I am a 2026 CYES Graduate. I have a passion for working with youth, and am currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program at Clark University.
My praxis project examined processes and understandings of student agency in classroom spaces. Working with students in an after-school program, we designed a 10-week course that sought to stimulate discourse surrounding agentic pedagogies, engaging students in authentic practices of meaning-making.
As an aspiring educator who has collaborated with these students for over 18 months, this work taught me a lot about relational trust and cultivating meaningful discourse realities. These are reflections I will continue to grapple with as I proceed forward in my teaching journey.
